Art Deco in Britain
Throughout Britain there are some very fine examples of Art Deco buildings, many in London but also some signifiant, beautiful buildings in many smaller towns and cities. Although these buildings differ in scale and purpose they all carry many of the Art Deco design motifs that characterise the movement; the streamlined curves and geometrical forms, the use of metalwork and cantilevered structural elements.
